So summer is over and it's two weeks into senior year. WTF? When did that happen? Anyway, so after a great deal of stressing over coming up with a good idea for a thesis project, and a lot of really bad ideas on the way, I finally got something. I'm doing a series of drawings (mixed media, actually) based on memories from my road trip this summer (see travel blog). I'm excited about the idea, mostly about the possibilities I have. I'm looking forward to it changing and evolving throughout the semester, and hopefully I'll end up with something totally rad.
SO, just so this post isn't really boring, here's a sketch I'm working on for the first piece in the series.
